BR-Misquoting Jesus

This was one I grabbed off the bargain rack on my way out. Was it divine inspiration? Perhaps. I imagine it's also why Catholicism has become my religion of choice, not just of birth. I'd gone to the store to purchase a Catholic Book.

I've always felt disconcerted by the many versions of the bible. You can only translate and scribe so many times before words are changed and meaning is altered. Not many Christians stop to consider where we got THE BIBLE, especially the New Testament; this is a great book for putting together how we received the testaments of Jesus life.

There is a wide belief is that the words of the New Testament are divinely inspired and infallible and yet we don't even have the original letters. Perhaps this is why God gave us such evolved brains. I love that nothing is truly spelled out...that is, except for FAITH.
